This Privacy Policy explains how Rakkit ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our app and website (the "Service").
Information we collect
- Account: your email address and authentication details.
- Profile: the information you add — display name, age, gender, who you're interested in, bio, skill level / DUPR, home courts, and photos.
- Activity: events you accept, the players you spark and match with, and messages you send to matches.
- Club accounts: for club admins, club details and billing information processed by our payment provider.
How we use it
- To operate the Service — show you events and let you join them.
- To connect singles: your profile and photos are shown to other users, and mutual sparks create matches so you can message.
- To notify clubs (by email) when someone accepts one of their event slots.
- To process club subscription payments.
- To keep the Service safe and to comply with the law.
What other people see
Other users can see your profile, photos, age, and skill information, and which event times you're attending. Sparks are private — another user is only notified when you both spark each other. Clubs can see who has accepted their event slots.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us run the Service, including:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and photo storage.
- Stripe — payment processing for club subscriptions.
- An email provider — to deliver event and account notifications.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from the app (Me → Delete account), which removes your profile, photos, messages, matches, and related data.
Children
Rakkit is only for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure. Please use a strong, unique password.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
